What Are Corrugated Partitions?
Corrugated partitions—also called corrugated dividers or cardboard dividers—are internal packaging inserts made from durable corrugated board. They create individual cells inside a corrugated box, keeping products from shifting, colliding, or breaking during shipping and storage.
They’re one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect products in transit, improve packing efficiency, reduce damage and returns, and maximize usable space inside shipping boxes.

Chipboard Partitions (Solid Fiber Dividers)

Chipboard dividers are made from solid fiberboard rather than corrugated material. They’re thinner and smoother, making them ideal when interior box space is limited or when products need precise, snug separation.
Interpack also manufactures INTERSTAK®, our proprietary high-performance chipboard designed for added stacking strength and durability. INTERSTAK chipboard partitions offer enhanced performance compared to standard chipboard, making them a strong choice when you need the space efficiency of chipboard without sacrificing strength.
Chipboard partitions—standard or INTERSTAK—can be custom-cut, interlocking, or pre-assembled and work with both manual and automated packing lines.
Pre-Assembled and Glued Partitions
Interpack manufactures pre-assembled and glued partitions that arrive ready to drop directly into the box—no manual assembly required. They help reduce labor time, keep cell spacing consistent, and improve stability inside the box while minimizing handling errors.
Pre-assembled options are available in both corrugated and chipboard materials, depending on the strength and application you need.
Foam and Protective Inserts
In some cases, partitions alone aren’t the best solution. For sensitive, high-value, or uniquely shaped products, Interpack can also provide foam and other protective inserts as part of a complete packaging system.
